About Darkmoor
Arriving in a foreign land, battered and beatened, a contingent of Roman
soldiers soon showed their resourcefulness by establishing a rudimentary
settlement. In time, due to lack of space, that settlement found its way
to the Trammel facet, where it founded Ravenvale, a quiet mining town along
the mountain range north of Britain.
Now, with the opening of Malas, they have moved once again. While
exploring Malas, these hardy people encountered a strange assembling of
people in dark purple robes. Templar Healers they called themselves,
although there were other Templar Monks and Templar Clerics.
They led the Roman adventurers up to towards the deeper valley of the mountain
range east of Luna, where standing strong and brightly was the white Temple
of Compassion. Encouraged, and enamored with the reception provided by
these native inhabitants, a new settlement rose.
This settlement, named Darkmoor, soon would become the capital city of an
empire of the same name, stretching from Malas, to Trammel, to Felucca.
While originally the homes of the Templar Healers, and the Legionnaires of
the Third Legion, soon many others called Darkmoor home.
This is Darkmoor, and we hope you will find a home here too. We welcome all
visitors, and merely ask that if they wish to participate, to make their
intentions known so that we may assist in making you feel welcome. We hope
that you, and eventually your guild, will find Darkmoor to be supportive to
you, as well as Sonoma in general.
