visits  Had our first guild vs. guild battle. We fought a friendly battle with the People's Army of Sonoma (PAS). Twelve legionnaires showed up, the same amount as number of PAS that showed up. Fighting three fairly even rounds, we managed to pull out a second win out of three rounds. While the Legion may have taken the field from our opponents, the exercise also served to help us recognize that in spite of the victories, we still need to refine our tactics, and team work in team PvP. You are one of the select members enlisted to serve in the Roman Third (III) Legion. It's history is unique, as it has come to Britannia by paranormal means. Having fought a long campaign to quell a rebellion led by tribal savages, the legion was returning to Rome when it encountered a strange light that engulfed the ships they rode upon. A strange army, in a strange land, the Third Legion found itself upon the shores of Felucca Britannia, a land slowly changing under the powers of the evils in the lands. With no way to return home, and unwilling to submit to the rule of the false rulers of the lands, the Legion has chosen to march again, this time for the glory of the denizens of Britannia. Your enlistment is with one of the oldest, and proudest legions of the Roman Empire of our homeworld. You will start as a trainee, and then rise to a Legionnaire. If you show yourself capable, you may rise to Corporal, Centurion, or even to Tribune, to command your own cohort!! Only the best and most loyal will be offered a spot in the Praetorian Guard, the personal guard of the Legion General. The Praetorian are the elite, the best fighters, as well as loyal to the General and the Legion. The Third Legion is a militaristic guild, and all members are expected to be in uniform at all times, and to follow the orders of officers.
